Biography

Brian Gelnett is an associate in the Subrogation Department, who represents national workers’ compensation carriers, employers, and injured workers, throughout the United States, in complex subrogation and personal injury cases involving product liability, premises liability, industrial and worksite accidents, as well as motor vehicle accidents and general negligence. Brian has successfully recovered millions of dollars through litigation, mediation, and Arbitration Forums and provides clients with comprehensive analysis and reliable recommendations to make informed decisions with confidence.

Brian also educates insurance companies and employers about complex work related injuries and investigations by preparing and providing training presentations on workers’ compensation subrogation issues and best practices for recovery. Additionally, Brian participates in developing National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) presentations.

Prior to his position in the Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Department at White and Williams, Brian represented low-income criminal defendants during an internship with the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office and interned for Pittsburgh City Council, prior to law school.

When not representing clients, Brian is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, who enjoys spending time with his wife, Desirae, and German Shepherd, Koda. Brian is an active member of the Peloton community who may also be found golfing or relaxing at the Delaware beaches during the warmer months.
