Biography

Chelsey Romer earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of Florida. During that time, Chelsey worked on several construction projects throughout the State of Florida, was the president of the Associated Builders and Contractors organization, and captain of the Design Build Institute of America’s Competition Team.

She then attended law school at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. During law school, Chelsey wrote her Seminar Paper on stucco titled The Florida Stucco Fiasco, which identified several issues and applicable solutions for utilizing stucco in Florida. She also received the highest marks in Research and Writing and clerked for Judge Anthony Porcelli of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Chelsey began her career by practicing first-party property damage litigation in 2021. Soon thereafter, Chelsey began practicing construction litigation. Having grown up with parents in the construction industry, and then working in the construction industry herself, Chelsey has a strong passion for construction litigation and is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to her clients throughout the State of Florida.
