Biography
Edgardo Hernandez was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL after his family migrated from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Aware that he wanted to pursue a career in law at an early age he was a standout student for the Palm Beach Lakes Community High School Law Magnet Program. After graduating high school, he went on to attend the University of Florida where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Event Management with a Minor in Leadership. Edgardo continued his academic pursuits at the University of Miami School of Law where he interned with the Honorable Stanford Blake and completed a Certified Legal Internship with the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office.
After obtaining his Juris Doctor, Edgardo went on to gain experience working for various law offices in South Florida as a paralegal, legal assistant, clerk, case manager and paralegal until he opened his own boutique law office in Palm Beach County. While running a solo practice he also served as an Adjunct Professor for Palm Beach State College, teaching the Legal and Ethical Environment of Business. On his career path, Edgardo has worked in public and private practice, in addition to working at every size firm from solo practices to nationwide firms. Edgardo is a staunch advocate for his clients’ rights and has resolved matters in multiple practice areas including premises liability, auto and trucking accidents, negligent security, products liability, dram shop, personal injury protection, family, criminal defense, landlord/tenant, and commercial contract disputes. Edgardo is admitted to the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
