Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad Strengthens Nationwide Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Practice with New Leadership Division
Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad (“DSB&C”) today announced the formation of a new Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Leadership Division, further solidifying the firm’s position as the largest dedicated workers’ compensation subrogation team in the country.
The leadership team—comprised of veteran litigators Robert Caplan, Brett Tishler, Anne-Marie Dale, and Kristin Bianculli bring more than 80+ years of combined experience in Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Recovery and Personal Injury litigation, representing our clients with the highest level of expertise in one of the most complex and nuanced areas of subrogation law.
Under the new structure, Robert Caplan will chair DSB&C’s national Workers’ Compensation Subrogation team, coordinating efforts across all 50 states. Brett Tishler will direct the Northeast division and Anne-Marie Dale will direct the Southeast Division. Kristin Bianculli will coordinate operations for the Leadership Team, while assisting the Team’s efforts nationally.
“A successful Workers’ Compensation Subrogation attorney needs to know the “ins and outs” of each state’s statute to maximize lien recoveries and in addition, needs to have the sharp litigation instincts of a personal injury lawyer and the soft skills to collaborate effectively with injured employees’ counsel,” said DSB&C’s Managing Partner Michael B. Stevens. “Many practitioners excel at some of these skills – but few possess all. This skillset is what makes our team so effective, and why clients trust us to handle these uniquely challenging cases nationwide.”
This growth highlights DSB&C’s continued commitment to serving insurers with the industry’s most comprehensive, coordinated, and results-driven approach to Workers’ Compensation Subrogation nationwide.
