Joseph Bevis III

Biography

Joseph Bevis is Senior Associate who brings extensive knowledge of subrogation, as well as internal insurance operations into his practice.  Joseph graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2000, and after a period as an IA working for Crawford & Company, Joseph graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Camden School of Law in 2006.

After graduating from Rutgers Camden, Joseph was a law clerk to the Honorable Karen L. Suter, J.S.C. in Mt. Holly, NJ, where he honed his skills in legal research and drafting judicial opinions. Joseph worked for a major Philadelphia firm for ten years in property subrogation, before going in-house to Selective Insurance to handle subrogation directly for the carrier. Joseph’s most recent role was as senior coverage director at Chubb, where he worked within the carrier to defend against coverage litigation across the country.

Joseph is known for his commitment to effective communication, team leadership, and legal innovation, while maintaining a steadfast focus on client service and operational excellence. He has litigated cases involving negligence, product liability, UCC, and premises liability, and mentored junior attorneys, as well as overseen large trial teams.
