Biography
Kalynne N. Proctor is an associate in the firm’s office in West Palm Beach, Florida. She practices in the areas of construction defect and other construction related litigation, as well as complex commercial litigation.
Kalynne was named to The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list in Construction Law (2022). She has significant experience representing contractors, subcontractors, and developers in various aspects of construction disputes. Kalynne’s extensive representation of clients in the construction industry involves successfully defending against construction defect and workmanship issues, delay and other schedule related claims, payment disputes, and breach of contract.
Prior to graduating from law school, Kalynne was the Managing Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review where her law review article entitled “In the Best Interests of the Disabled: Legislating Morality and the Power to Initiate Support Orders for Disabled Adults in Ohio, was published. In addition, prior to graduating from law school, Kalynne also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Litigation.
Kalynne enjoys screenwriting, acting, and spending time with family outside of practicing law, as well as competitive sports based on her former experience as a Division I college athlete in Basketball.
