Biography

Marc Madonia has been a practicing litigation attorney for nearly 25 years.  In that time, he has successfully litigated hundreds of complex insurance-based matters, concluding many by jury verdict. His experience is broad-based, and during his career, he has litigated complex personal injury matters seeking recoveries from insurance companies, complex insurance property subrogation matters seeing recoveries for insurance companies, and complex workers compensation lien recovery matters for insurance companies.

His experience includes prior roles as Supervising Attorney for a firm’s litigation department, Partner in the subrogation and recovery department of a large international insurance litigation law firm, and Senior Counsel (in-house) heading up the subrogation and recovery department of a large international insurance company, with three underwriting entities and multiple domestic and international branch offices.  His insurance industry experience spans nearly 30 years.

In addition, Marc is a frequent speaker at large insurance industry conferences and has in recent years been selected as a speaker at conferences produced by insurance industry trade organizations including: National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP); Reuters’ (Connected Claims conference); Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB); ALM Property-Casualty 360; Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM); and, the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).

In his free time, Marc is an avid athlete and a former college swimmer. He alternately competes in U.S. Masters swimming and running marathons and has completed 15 marathons, at last count.
